LHRS

The laboratory for heterogeneous computer systems was established in 1999. The laboratory's predecessor was the Center for heterogeneous processing, which was established in 1995. The purpose of the center was to transfer knowledge from the university to the industry and to the public sector.

Main research interest in the Laboratory for heterogeneous computer systems are distributed and heterogeneous computer systems, web technologies, digital libraries, semantic and service oriented web, natural language processing, plagiarism detection, knowledge management systems and knowledge discovery systems in structured and unstructured sources.
