Capitalization Initiative for the Innovation and Internationalization of the MED economic and knowledge system (more information are available on http://www.programmemed.eu/en/the-projects/project-database/results/view/single.html?no_cache=1&idProject=3). The Citek project involves relevant innovation stakeholders of the MED and IPA area coming from 6 countries (Italy, Spain, France, Portugal, Slovenia, Croatia) as well as external relevant partners. The project aims at fostering the setting up of transnational and trans-local system of Innovation in the MED area capitalizing the guidelines, strategies, working methodology and web-based tools produced by financed MED projects (ICS, IKTIMED and R&D Industry), developing synergies with outputs and tools developed in the scope of project funded by other EU Programs and transferring knowledge and experiences to the IPA partner area. The main project activities are: Med smart specialization strategies' implementation observatory, trans-national knowledge based innovation network platform and online tools, transnational online business community, scouting and analysis of the internationalization potentialities of the project area, pilot project for the setting up of open linked data capitalization system.
